Summery: A man was arrested after camera footage and eye witnesses saw him lurking around and peeking into the windows of multiple sorority houses. After the police received a call about it, they found the man walking in the area of the houses. He denied what was going on, but the camera evidence was enough to arrest him.
Problem: The problem presented in this story is security. While there were security cameras in place, the man still could of been able to break into of the homes.
Who has the problem: In the case, the problem would be for all people who live in sorority houses, or apartments near the sorority houses.

Summery: The Reitz Union Board of Entertainment announced that they were going to have popular rappers Young Thug and Demetri Martin perform at a free concert on UF's campus. Students were the ones who planned the concert, and expect there to be a huge crowd of students, due to the fact that the concert is free.
Problem: The problem in this story was that they sold out their concert the previous year, and are worried about not being able to live up to last years expectations.
Who has the problem: The students who work for the Reitz Union Board and the the student government, who are both resoluble for getting live concerts to UF.

Summery: Construction began on Hull Road, which caused the road to partly be shutdown. Students were asked if it would affect their everyday class routine, and a description of the construction was given.
Problem: The problem is that hull road is right next to lakeside dorms. Not only is the construction next to the dorms, but it is also going to block the bus stop right next to the dorm.
Who has the problem: This is a problem for the students who live at lakeside and rely on the bus to get to class. Lakeside is already so far away from the middle of campus, and now students who live there without a scooter, also do no have a bus stop.

Summery: After the bar "Rowdies" closed at 2am, a man began to bang on the door. He the made in into the bar and assaulted multiple of the employees still there cleaning. He choked one of them, and when the police came to arrest him, he proceeded to resist the arrest. He was arrested on 4 different charges.
Problem: There are multiple problems here. This bar is in midtown of Gainesville, where students often go out to at night. There are many students around, and many of them have been drinking all night. This placed them in danger. The other problem is security at the bar. A man should not be able to get in after the bar is closed.
Who has the problem: The main people who have the problem is the staff and ownership of the bar. They needed to have better security and not put their employees at risk.

Summery: The Florida Department of Transportation began investing the Standard and its parking garage for being built too close to 13th street. The owners of the Standard claim that they know about the investigation and will fully comply with the investigators.
Problem: The problem is that the standard building is big, and is already built. If they violated any laws or coeds, it could cost millions to fix. The other problem is if the building is too close to the street. Many bad things could happen if the building did violate the code.
Who has the problem: The problem is the worth for the owners and constructors of the standard.

The Standard Parking Garage opportunity is interesting as it also can affect the users/future users of the garage as they will be inconvenience by this investigation. The other opportunity that you pick that was interesting to me was you first article regarding security at the sorority house. This is a good opportunity for a new security system.
