19A- Idea Napkin 2

1. My name is Eric Wendell. I am from Tampa, FL but go to school at the University of Florida. I am organized, people- oriented, and a leader. I am experienced with technology and have multiple certifications. My aspirations are to be a leader in the industry. If I made this app,  my goal would be for it to make every bar/restaurant better business.

2. I am offering a application that allows people to see the line or wait time at any local bars or restaurants. The app will say wait times and it will allow the user to check in so that they do not have to wait in line when the arrive.

3. My customers will be mostly college aged young adults living in college towns or towns that have popular nightlife. Many of these people are students who live the definition of the work hard, play hard lifestyle.

4. Customers will pay for this for many reasons. College towns are notorious for having crowded bars and long lines. This will allow students to prepare for it as well as check in to the bar so that they don't have to wait in line when they arrive.

5.  The thing that sets my app apart is that it will be a free service that all are welcome to join. People will be able to download the app and within minutes see what bar or restaurant they should go to.

Feedback: I wanted to make sure that the app had more features than just listing wait times at different locations. I also wanted to make the app appeal more to people, no matter what their financial status is.

  1. Hey Eric,

You did a great job with your post and building upon your idea napkin number 2. It was very cool to see and take the notes that we received from our first napkin and implementing those notes onto the second napkin. Your idea from what I know has a lot of potential and has so much room for success. I agree with you and think its a great idea that you wanted to make sure that app has many features rather than just wait times and all. Appealing to your target market is key and the reason why businesses succeed. Overall, great post and details.

  2. Hey Eric!

I appreciated how you kept your idea napkin short, sweet and to the point. It was interesting to see how the feedback and comments from our first idea napkins influenced and soft of altered this one. From what I have previously read about your business idea, it seems like you are on the right track to making it a success. I for one can say that I would definitely be interested in purchasing your application simply because it is a quick and easy way to find out information other than through word of mouth. Nice work!
